Owner and connection

Account details

We process email, password hash, name and selected avatar, date of birth, height, weight, goal, time zone and schedule, food records and their ratings, recipes, plans and settings. This is necessary to log in, synchronize the diary and operate selected functions. The password is not stored in clear text. Data is transmitted via HTTPS and linked to the account; they are visible to the user and the authorized administrator. The data is not sold or used for advertising.

Photos and external AI require separate consent

After explicit consent, selected photos, clarifications, food names, and chat messages are routed via OpenRouter to OpenAI. If it fails, the request can go directly to OpenAI. The route is limited by the OpenAI provider, data collection by the provider in OpenRouter routing is prohibited, saving requests as Chat Completions is disabled. These settings do not mean zero storage of technical security logs by providers.

The chat receives up to twelve previous message pairs from the selected conversation. By default it uses food entries, calories, macronutrients and saved goal snapshots from the last 90 days. Details include up to 360 recent entries with up to 12 ingredients each; daily totals are complete. In Profile → Data and AI, you can shorten the period or hide the diary. Your existing visibility choice stays in effect. Email, name, birth date, weight and Apple Health / Health Connect data are not sent automatically. Do not include information you do not want to share. You can decline or revoke consent in Profile → Data and AI; your diary and saved foods remain available.

Valid OpenRouter policy and OpenAI policy. At OpenAI, abuse control logs under standard API terms can be retained for up to 30 days; Specific account terms may vary. Deleting Dayana data does not delete already submitted requests from the external provider. The original photos of analyzes are not saved on the Dayana server; the result is saved. The avatar is retained until the account is replaced or deleted.

Voice and notifications - optional

Voice input uses device or browser speech recognition (Apple/Google). Dayana does not save audio entries on the server. Check the text before sending. The response is voiced using the device or browser. You can use text without a microphone.

After notifications are enabled, the push token or Web Push subscription and reminder settings are saved. Delivery is made through Apple, Google, Mozilla or the service of the browser used. The notification text does not contain weight, food, or email values. Disabling is available in Profile → Reminders and device settings. Deleting an account deletes subscriptions.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Only after separate permission the application reads the selected weight and steps for import into the diary and progress. The app does not write AI scores to medical storage. This data is not shared with AI and is not used for advertising. Access can be revoked in the application and system settings. Already imported data remains until it is deleted or your account is deleted. Backing up app data to the device cloud is disabled.

Telegram

Connecting a personal chat with @dayanadaily_bot is enabled in the Profile. The bot can show results and record the selected food and weight after confirmation. These messages are available on Telegram under Telegram policy. You can disable access in your Profile or with the /unlink command. A one-time link is valid for seven minutes, a temporary product selection is valid for up to 15 minutes, and a photo analysis editor is valid for up to one hour. Photo and signature are analyzed after consent to AI; The limit shared with the application is used. The bot shows estimates of calories, nutritional ingredients and composition, allows you to correct names, portions and values before confirming the entry separately. The original photo remains in Telegram according to its rules and is not saved on the Dayana server.

Technical services and statistics

Resend delivers login and support emails and processes the addresses and contents of those emails. Server errors and technical metrics are collected on our server in Grafana, Loki and Prometheus. The request log stores the route template, HTTP status, duration and random request ID, without the request body, query parameters and headers. Clients only report error and event categories when collection is enabled. The Loki log is stored for 30 days, query metrics for up to 90 days. Grafana receives only aggregates of AI usage, registrations and daily activity without email addresses and diary content. The website collects views, source categories and clicks; The random browser session ID is valid for 30 minutes. The statistics do not include email, diary and full source address. The units are stored for 90 days. IP is used to restrict requests and may appear in infrastructure logs. No ad tracking.

Storage and deletion

The account, diary and test results are stored until the account is deleted. The chat can be cleared separately: text and replies are deleted, already confirmed food entries are saved. Technical request counters are saved without text and responses and do not allow you to bypass the limit by clearing the chat. Complaints about AI are available to the administrator for verification and are deleted along with the account.

Account deletion is performed from the application or on this page: profile, diary, weight, plans, AI results, chat text, consents, login tokens, shared links and push subscriptions are deleted; the avatar is also deleted. Private backups can contain no more than 30 days of data before deletion. When restoring the database, deleted accounts are erased again before the application is launched. To do this, a random identifier of the deleted account, the date of deletion and the technical name of the avatar are stored in a secure log, without email, diary or chat text. This minimal log is kept to prevent recovery of deleted data. The administrator's technical audit and anonymized aggregates can be stored separately. The copies that you exported yourself or transferred to another person are kept by the recipient. Support letters from Resend and Telegram messages are stored according to the rules of these services; You can request their removal through support.
